It is used to unlock security access to a building or protected facility. It is also used for time registration. Each product is protected by an invariable individual code read by the reader when the key fob comes within its range, allowing access only to authorised persons. The reader verifies the information encoded on the key fob before unlocking access. Reading the information is wireless by electromagnetic induction.
